These companies shouldn't say their products are safe for all pets. Some pets are bound to have an adverse reaction to such treatments, just as people sometimes have negative reactions to medications.
ReplyDeleteAt what level does the animal, REACT? They are poison any way you slice it. Anything applied to the skin, that kills bugs for a month, CAN'T BE GOOD! I haven't used the store brands, but you can be sure the vet sold brands arn't much better. Frontline and Advantage are probably behind the media. All are risky and should be used sparingly.

I'm sorry I phrased that that paragraph badly. I was only agreeing with you. Flea and tick sprays and shampoos are a pesticide and should be used with extreme caution. :)
