Welcome to the Pet Mom blog page!

WELCOME!

I am so glad that you've come to visit! I was hoping you might stop by today! I just love it when friends drop by. I'll put on the kettle and make us a cup of tea, maybe a glass of wine is your thing and we can have a good chat about anything and everything, like our pets, our gardens, our families or anything else on your mind.

If you can't stay long this time I hope you'll come again. Thanks for visiting!

ARE TOPICAL FLEA AND TICK DROPS DANGEROUS FOR YOUR PET?

3 comments:

  1. These companies shouldn't say their products are safe for all pets. Some pets are bound to have an adverse reaction to such treatments, just as people sometimes have negative reactions to medications.

  2. At what level does the animal, REACT? They are poison any way you slice it. Anything applied to the skin, that kills bugs for a month, CAN'T BE GOOD! I haven't used the store brands, but you can be sure the vet sold brands arn't much better. Frontline and Advantage are probably behind the media. All are risky and should be used sparingly.
www.greenpaws.org has a good list with charts.

  3. I'm sorry I phrased that that paragraph badly. I was only agreeing with you. Flea and tick sprays and shampoos are a pesticide and should be used with extreme caution. :)
